Artist Statement

My practice explores how ordinary objects, materials, and gestures can be transformed through processes of making, repetition, and reuse. Working with textiles, found objects, and the body, I modify familiar forms, shift their functions, and test their physical and symbolic limits. Knitting, wrapping, repairing, arranging, and performing become ways of thinking through materials, actions, and the meanings they accumulate.

I am interested in the labour and time embedded in these processes, particularly in forms of work that remain unnoticed, repetitive, or difficult to measure. My work brings together the domestic and the public, the functional and the seemingly useless, care and exhaustion, fragility and resistance. Through modest interventions and often precarious constructions, I question established ideas of usefulness, productivity, and value.

Moving between objects, installations, photography, performance, and interventions in public space, I approach art as an ongoing process of testing and transformation. Repetition, uncertainty, and imperfection are not obstacles to resolve, but conditions through which new meanings can emerge.
